5-in-5_Day3_Breathe

tease(a teaser)

More to come, too cold to edit at 4am…

**Update**

Inspired by Wriggles & Robins(check out theirs!)
Set up in my bedroom with window wide open at night, tempurature -12ºC/10ºF,
LG HX350T projector, a lot of layers, and hot water stand by. Animation made in AE!

For now, it’s just a one-day simple projecting test. For future, I’d love to connect this with more interactions, exploring possibility to be generic art of emotions and communications. Pam suggested using words recognition to tell user’s speaking content then it can easily avoid pre-rendering! Seems to be having a lot of potentials. Exciting!

Oh there’s one big cannot unsee problem. It’s restricted by the temperature and amount of breath! Hmmm…

Ani_Butter Test Shot

which is totally useable!

Working on Sunday to pull it off. Setting up took the most of the time, and the filming was definitely less than 1 hour… But it’s totally worth it! What a lovely home of a little cube of Butter. And Kate showed magic to knit the rug. UNBELIEVABLE. It’s a magical world of cardboard and bread 😀

More to come 🙂

Butter Ani gif made by Kate!

Tried the butter today with Kate, interesting!! The tricky things is that butter melts quite easily, might need to put in back in refrigerator several time.

It’s a story about butter who’s very unsatisfied with his greasy traces, and wants to fly because of the inspiration from the butterfly!

And here’s the discussion about our dilemma about choosing whether butter or origami as our character.

Ani_Thaumatrope!

Thaumatrope_faceThaumatrope_toast

It’s always lovely to be old school. It’s a thaumatrope about one happy human being having peanut butter toast. But I drew the toast on the wrong part so it’s like it’s already in someone’s throat. Still, it’s a lovely way to die by choking to dead/killed by food.
