Laura Juo-Hsin Chen, 陳若昕, is an artist, creative coder, designer, and specializes in 3D, virtual reality, animation, and doodle. With hybrid media, Laura enjoys creating emotional impacts and building communications, and is interested in offering the experience that will let people see the world differently.
During the stay in US, Laura interned in the Media Lab of The Metropolitan Museum of Arts, participated in showcase: Experiments in Storytelling, NYC Media Lab’s Annual Summit, and NYC Arcade, and got into final round of competition: Fusion Film Festival, Adobe Design Achievement Awards, and TEI conference.
Laura received a BA in Finance from National Taiwan University, and a Master’s Degree from the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) in Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. She currently lives in New York as a resident research fellow in ITP, and is thinking about making more vr masks.
